Washing microfiber

This happened to me once. I would strongly recommend you clean it before you throw them in the wash with the others. Those little bits and pieces will be in all your towels. I ended up throwing mine away after spending an hour picking at it.

Yeah I feel yeah.

Fortunately the towel with the leafs and junk is my black wheel towel. I guess I'll just keep that for fender/undercarriage stuffs =D
 
More on washing. You can use regular detergent to wash MF towels and they will come out fine. However, once you try a high quality MF detergent, I guarantee you will never go back to All. The towels just come out better.

For the person who had sticky towels with Griots, I think up until recently, their MF cleaner product was just a booster. However, if you read the product copy that is not 100% clear. I think their new MF product is a true detergent.
 
Has anyone ever used borax or baking soda to counter hardwater issues?
