Looking for suggestions on washing mitts. Looking for the one that is best for not scratching the finish.
Have an older mustang with low mileage and spotless original paint. I am sure there will be many
different opinions on this but interested in everyones thoughts.

If you want a really good and gentle wash mitt I would go with this.

The downside is that the maintance for it is importened and you can not wash in the machine and only air dry it. To keep the fluffy you can even comb it and this making sure for it's not leaves any dirt in it. The upside is one of the most gentle mitts you can have and still clean very well.

Microfiber Madness Incredipad/Mitt. Out of all the detailing products that have come out over the last, say, 5 years. It is the one that I find myself noticing the most. As in, thee biggest upgrade to my washing process in recent years. It's amazing, and nothing I could change about it would make it better.

Other then maybe bigger...oh wait, I just got the new XL one that came out. They got that covered also :)

Unfortunately, not offered on here so uh oh.

Is the Incredipad also a mitt?

They offer a mitt equivalent. I haven't used that myself. The pads are awesome though.

You'll find people on one side of the fence or the other. I personally, like my hand being out and free, others like their hands inside of a mitt. I flip the pad after a couple passes, I like my hand being free and out. Also, I like the firm edges of the mitt for getting in tight areas.

Here is a mitt that some companys use the same sort of mf in their mitt/pads. I have this and it's a good mitt. But if I would have a car that was black and soft paint and would take extra care of. I would use a wool mitt or pad and takeing the extra care for the wool that is some extra work to do.

Microfiber Chenille mitt rinsed and scraped on the grit guard after every panel.
