What detergent do you guys use to wash your towels? Microfiber and cotton.

I use Blackfire Microfiber Wash but you can find several lengthy discussions on what is best. The best product may vary due to water hardness, washing machine type, how much you use, towel segregation (cross contamination), etc so two people can use same product and experience different results.

A small amount of whatever is in the cabinet for washing the clothes. Depending on what the towels were used for maybe an ounce or two of Meguiar's APC+.

I'm just not one to believe that the dedicated MF cleaners make a big enough difference (if at all) to be concerned with.

I'm washing them with tide now. I wash my MF and cotton separate so I don't end up with fuzz balls all over my MF.
I still use cotton on the rough areas like tires engine bay and so e parts of the interior.

I use the Wolfgang cleaner on the higher quality towels and run the others (Costco) with a normal detergent. I cant say i have noticed a huge difference but with normal detergent the towels always seemed to come out with a slight smell of soap which I have read that residue can be harmful/detrimental when used on paint. I am not completely sold on it yet but have read some great reviews and picked it up on sale for 12$.
