So, I noted that AGO seems to heavily push using a single wash mitt when showing car wash products.

I normally just wash with a microfiber towel, like a Gold Plush Jr., folded to 8 sides. I'll put 4 or 5 in the bucket with the soap and them soak a few minutes then use as face for a panel, turn it, wash and repeat. Each panel will only get one side of the towel. Seperate towels for wheels.

I suppose it would be easier to just use one mitt - But even with a grit guard I would be a bit worried. As I always just use the towel and once all 8 sides are used up it just gets tossed to the rince bucket and not used again.

Thoughts.

It's just personal preference. If that's what you like to do great. That's how I do my rinseless washes. I like using a wash mitt for the two-bucket method because it's faster and after I've pre-washed the car with foam and rinsed, there is a lot less dirt on the car. Then I foam the car down again and wash.

I try to use two mitts one side per panel or top portions with one side the flip mitt around for lower areas
