Yancy,
Any chance of seeing the 'rental car' from yesterday? Maybe during the next coffee break?

Bill

The guys working on the first hood using the Griot's DA and the Optimum polish said they had a hazy finish compared to the hood with Mezerma. I think the problem is that they are using the Griot's red waxing pad instead of the orange polishing pad. The orange pad has more bite and would clean up the hazing IMO.

I'll have pictures posted of it on the forum, a bit difficult to get all the camera equipment out there.

Maybe 08rd finished out better. It seems like most people like it for the best finish.

And we're out, thank you all for tuning in and commenting on here. If anyone has any questions or comments at all, feel free to post here or send me a pm.

Nice job Ladies and Gentlemen

I can tell you all have been hangin around Dwayne as I see you've knocked off an hour early

It was cold and snowing here in western NY, but I had a front row seat watching from the comfort of my home. I wanted to cry watching some of you guys walking around in shorts..!..well it was great...what a great organization AG is. Can't say enough good things...I learned a lot and although I couldn't use the equipment first hand, it was extremely helpful in every way. Again, Kudos to all the AG crew....!!!..

Well sadly I had to miss watching today's 102 class, but I'm hoping AG will do this again for the next classes! I'd even be willing to pay to watch next time, judging by the quality I saw yesterday.

One thing that would be very cool for next time though would be giving internet viewers the ability to ask questions as well -- maybe set aside a Q&A period right after lunch so either Mike or someone can check a "live requests" thread on the forum during the break and address selected viewer questions on the live feed.

Now, if only I could figure out how to get the streaming video to play back to my 40" LCD TV here in the basement without getting too grainy.... :D

Here's a parting shot... this car was in dire need of claying, correcting, polishing and waxing and the students from our Saturday class took the paint to it's maximum potential. I'm confident the rental company will think we painted it!

Tomorrow I'll polish out the passenger side headlight lens and give the entire car a coat of wax and then return it to the rental agency.

:)

Nice job Mike and all the other Geeks involved in the production of this class. I watched the 102 class today up until the DA polishing portion started. That is when I had to leave.

Thanks for providing the opportunity for some of us that could not normally make it down, to tune in and get a peek at what an actual class is like. It was cool to see what goes on. :)

Thanks :xyxthumbs:

It was an excellent production. The camera work and sound was great. What a great educational tool especially with Mike is a patient teacher.

It would be nice to see this on a replay since I missed several hours due to other responsibilities.

Its on until 4:00 pm EST. You have to sign on as if you were purchasing a video.

Thank! It was around 2pm EST when I registered (paid) and tried to log onto the stream. Could not connect. No worries. Plenty of other things to do. Just glad that I didn't pay for the video feed.
