Re: Watch out for snow plows

I saw that on the news this morning and thought I am happy to be in Fla!

Re: Watch out for snow plows

Should have been a language warning... Not family friendly.

As with anything that has "NY" in the title, that should be a given.
*edit - added a language warning for ya.

Matt, you have to assist people from Findlay, Ohio, sometimes they just don't get things.:laughing:

There's your unionized government worker, doing what they do best...

You would think something with a bucket could dig its way out of anything. They clearly did not care.

this doesn't surprise me one bit and if there weren't anyone around to witness this, they probably would of just drove off. people these days... also, (rant) why do people still talk on the cell phone while driving? they need to hire undercover cops in normal civilian cars and start ticketing people, they would make ALOT of $$$'s...

btw... if i lived up high where this guy was filming this, i would definitely have one of these to let everyone know and here what's going on whenever some incident occurs...

My goodness that is terrible! Good thing you caught it on video. I too agree with BigAl3, they probablly would have driven off and just left it damaged if they thought no one saw.

Looked like they were just doing there job to me. Removing "garbage" off the street :dblthumb2:

The problem with this is that the state will pay for the damaged cars and the workers will probably get written up and that's about it.

Unbelievable is right. Wow.

Yeah they would of bolted if there wasn't anyone around. :bolt:
What a joke.....

Those people with the plows aren't really careful, today I was painting this house and I saw from the window that the plow was inches away from swapping into a car.

This is your typical city / government worker that's making $60 and can retire after 20 years with full benefits paid for by the taxpayers.... You know, like the one that owns the car they just destroyed....

Government = The Fleecing of America and the abandonment of the American worker..

You have to admit, he was nice enough to lift up the loader so as not to hit the truck with it. :D

Plow drivers around here certainly are not careful at all. Which I understand removing snow can be a tiresome job considering they work for hours on end. For example I put stakes out in my yard so they know where my lawn actually starts...every year they plow them over and since I live on a corner they plow all the snow right up into my lawn and by spring time I end up with a huge mound of dirt and sand on the corner that I then have to fix.

Last year they came within 3 inches of taking out my neighbors sprinkler system.

That hurt to watch... I always fear this happening at work or something plow related...
