Well folks the majority know that you do not want regular tap water on the bodywork.

Hence Distilled water in the spray bottles when diluting QD etc...

As for the Hose and powerwasher, you are not going to leave water on the car but even then some shampoo's have additives to at least help reduce if not neutralise the calcium etc in hard water.

Very Hard round me especially having come from bore holes....:laughing:

I decided to run over both cars with the hose and left the water standing for some 7 hours.

Needless to say im left with this...

So I washed with ONR was thinking of using the Bilt Hamber Autowash but went for speed....
I was still left with the Etching despite repeated hits and some aggitation... Still left this...

I Came Back to them some 24 Hours Later to Have a go with something else..

Here is a Bit removed with the Secret Water Etching Weapon...

Then All Done with it wiped all over the Bodywork...

Now What New Great water etching remover is this,??? which Car Cleaning Product Manufacturer can claim Top Slot.....??????.......:thumb:

I didnt waterdown as some do its neat and i got most off with one wipe slight pressure a couple of wipes for the others...

Thanks for that link. I use vinegar if I have mats that someone has put too much soap into and it is frothing up when I first rinse it, or if I have a very nasty stain that took a strong soap, I will spray it with vinegar after doing some rinsing, let it dwell and then rinse again. The vinegar cuts the soap. Vinegar is also very good to add to the extractor tank as it cuts the foam there too. (Sorry for my run on sentence there, LOL)
