Water hose stuck under tires?

Here's my tip.

Preparation for a wash:
I start by pulling enough hose out to form a coil with enough hose to work from front to back on a car. I then carry that coil over to the farthest side of the car first. That is, I pull enough hose so that I have plenty of hose laying (in a coil) on the farthest side of the car...lay that section of hose...enough to work from front to back without yanking on the hose...lay that amount of hose beyond the farthest side of the car by about 8 feet. No need to have to yank on anything.

I usually then pull the car onto the drive way. If the car is already on the drive way simply walk behind the car and beyond the car by about 6-8 feet. This is the spot that you'll lay down enough hose (coil up) to work front to back on the farthest side of the car.

All that is left after washing the farthest side of the car from the spigot is to move the hose (coil it back up quickly and carry the coil) over to the water spigot side of the car and start washing that side.

I never have to whip a hose around paint, and never have to use any buckets. Simply pull enough hose out to start with and there's no trouble if you start on the far side of the car.

The hose blockers take no time to setup.
You drop them close to the tyre, kick them into place & you're done.
While I'm cleaning my tyres I move that wheels guard & replace when I'm done. At the end a quick rinse & you're sorted.

For the money they are great, very strong & IMO, if you have customers, look professional.

I got mine from AG for $10 or something, here in Australia local sellers want nearly $40 for 2! Now that would be too expensive for what they are. $2.50 ea I can live with...
