Lately I been washing my brothers car 2008 Mustang GT aka "Pegasus" and my 2007 Honda Pilot aka "Sweet Juliet" with a Honda pressure washer. I been using the line of product called Chemical Guys in which I am very happy with the result but the problem is that I want to reduce the chances of getting water marks on the paint. My neighbor told me that I can purchase a water softener system in Home Depot in where I can plug it to the water hose faucet and connect the water hose to the system. I am wondering if any of you can give me feedback about this and as well what recommendations do you have to start my system. To be honest I don't want to spend more than $200 since I will just be using it to wash my car (twice a month). Thank you in advance for the feedback Feed back please

For under $200, and only twice a month, you might just want to work a section at a time and use a waterless wash and or quick detail as you dry each section.
You can get a CR Spotless for about $300 and it will eliminate water spots where as a water softener may cause its own water spots.

I tried some waterless wash such as Chemical Guys and not that convinced as washing it with water

Same here in Los Angeles the water is hard. I tend to fill my foam cannon with drinking water and as well grab a spray water with drinking water to remove some water marks after drying the car.
