Water spot advice

Hand sanded with foam sandpaper 3000 grit. I did three passes on the door panels and 4-5 on the hood and top. I used a bigfoot 6 inch with microfiber pad and did about 3-4 passes with the heavy compound. Polished it then ended with a wax. Looked like New when I was done. I did have another case on a black Mercedes that had it bad on the hood and trunk. I used the same process on two occasions because it resurface but it was to far into the clear coat so there was no fixing it.

That's looking like the only solution, did you hand sand or use disks on DA?
The big question here is after all that work, will the car get wrecked again? Do you know what your doing as far as sanding?

It's not the only solution and highly advise not doing all that sanding and buffing as this method will give you premature paint failure living out there.

have you tried Kamikaze Water Sport Remover? I've seen it used with good success.

Carpro has a water spot remover, MX7 has been suggested, and there are lots of chemical water spot removers esp if you search under boating products. Those are very nasty-whatever you do once you correct the situation take precautions to not let it happen again.

Try a product called "winsol". I use it constantly for water spots on glass and paint it works wonders.

What specifically are you recommending?
I wouldn't suggest this product unless you are totally knowledgeable about it on how to use it.If not it will inflict damage.maybe try calling your insurance company maybe worth a shot especially that it's on the glass as well,I see a safety hazard.

are there any reputable detail shops out there within a 100 mi radius.

I haven't ever had an issue using winsol very easy to use all you have to do is use window cleaner or a quick spray wax afterwards and even then it can sit for quite a while I've noticed with absolutely no damage. I'm telling you it's a time saver and does the job well.

I recently moved to Boise ID and the water spots are ridiculous...I honestly tried everything on this black Nissan that was caked with water spots that hAve definitely been there for a while. For the heck of it I pulled out my Klasse AIO and it wiped the water spots out easily. I couldn't believe it. Just used a light hybrid cutting pad with my G21...
