I have a new to me 02 tahoe that has water spots on the tinted windows & side mirrors that I have not been able to remove. What is the best course of action for this?

What have you already tried?

A water spot remover, such as CarPro Spotless, would be useful if the spotting is simply bonded mineral deposits.

If they have etched into the surface of the glass, you may be in for a real battle. You're going to have to use an abrasive to remove the spots... this could be as simple as some M105 and a cutting pad, or you may have to resort to a glass polish and glass cutting pad. Always start with the least aggressive method and work your way up.

Haven't tried anything more than, dare I say it, windex. I'm new to detailing & don't know what products are out there to fix this.

Thanks for the responses, looks like I'll try CarPro spotless first & see how that works. Thanks again.

Before you buy anything, if you have vinegar in the kitchen, try that 50/50 with distilled water.

Thanks for the tip trekkerruss i'll give that a try. Have both of those items. Usually only use distilled water for the humidors.
