Hello everyone.... havin a tough time removing hard/etched water spots off of my 17' Camaro SS 1LE's hood

I bought some matte cleaning spray from chemical guys hoping that will do the trick...

I received the car like this btw.... it seems they washed the car and didn't bother to dry it well and the water spots got etched into the hood's paint

OPT has a product called MDR MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER. Check Autopia and Autogeek

I normally use white vinegar or lemon for cleaning the hard water spots. I apply the white vinegar + distilled water or lemon on the window and allow it to sit for few minutes. Reapply the solution again and then scrub the glass tightly with a towel. Some of my friends use toothpaste for cleaning the hard spots but I haven't tried it yet.
The best thing you can do to avoid the hard water spot is not allowing the water to rest on the window. Clean the window with a dry cloth if you see any water on them. I read these tips from an emergency cleaning service providers website. I think water repellant products are also available in the market. I haven't used those yet. Heard that such products work well.
