So my 2 year old grabs my bottle of APC and decided he wants to help daddy. He continues to hose down the interior and the inside of the windshield.

I was able to clean up the leather and console but I cant get it off the windshield. It had a chance to dry and it doesn't want to budge now. I have spots and streaks all over and need help.

Any products out there I can use to fix the issue?

thanks in advance

Any polish should do. One with a chemical cleaner would be best.

I feel your pain...waterpots is a misnomer.

Good luck and am looking forward to hearing of your results.

Hi

Have you tried the APC again over the water spots?

Usually the same product contains the "softener" allowing the product to break down again.

AJ

+1 - I'll let it soak for about 20 seconds; but not let it dry either.

Are the stains on a tinted part of the glass or no? Id imagine doing the same on the inside (if non tinted) as that of the outside would work : that being a heavy cut compound and either micro or cutting pad by hand. SHOULD work - If I have removed year old water spots on the outside this way, I couldn't imagine it not working on the interior glass :dunno:

Glass is real finicky.
Stains or discoloration in glass are a major PITA.
I hope that you find success where I have always failed.

will try :xyxthumbs:

B&B thanks for the advice, will try soon and report my findings

Definitely try small section first my friend - never tried this..... just seems logical to me if it is non tinted and just a surface stain.

tried the APC to remove it and no go. :(

Next try APC again or just glass cleaner but this time use 0000 Steel Wool, should work like a charm. Unless you put like 30lbs. of pressure or more you will not scratch the glass.
