We here at Premier Auto Detailers are in the final stages of finishing our "Two-step waterless-wash spray and detailer". Just wanted to see what the general consensus was on this kind of product, and to show off the results from our hard work! :D Anyone else create and patent their own detailing products or cleaners? Attached photos from my personal vehicle that has been the "Guinea pig" of all the tests. Purchased in January and it has never seen the business end of a hose, only a sealant application about a month ago. Let me know what you guys think!

You'll have to provide just a little more information as to the reason(s) why it's called a "two step".
Why, you may be wondering?

Well, for one:
I can do a waterless-wash/detail in "one step".
While using just one product.

I say two step because one spray is more abrasive, meant to cut through heavier lays of dirt, road grime, salt, ect, while the other is a much lighter spray that is streak free and leaves a deeper shine. Thanks for the input!

He/she looks great IMO also I like that beading too
And yes we are currently looking into it. So far the combination of chemicals are very low cost, and as you can see very effective.

Your vehicle is most likely showing beading characteristics from the recently applied sealant so they are not a true representation of any beading your product many produce.

I prefer a single spray bottle for my waterless wash, I don't have a need for a 2 step waterless wash.

Your definition of "more abrasive"...as being a:
Wash/Cleaner...is rather off-putting.

Not exactly endearing, to someone like me;
Being an enthusiast: And stricken by OCD.

And I understand any trepidation you may have for that reason, but frankly individuals like you are not who we would try to sell to. Our product uses an additional step with exceptional results, for the average consumer who is looking for an easier way to clear their car, but is still up for SOME labor, it is just fine.

And yes , it's beading from an application of sealant 3 weeks and 7 cleanings ago. That's why I included the image.

-Because I'm an OCD enthusiast?
(IMO...This is an enthusiast-forum, more or less)

BTW:
-I did shower, put on some deo,
brushed my teeth...this evening.

So:
You'd rather have the everyday Joe Lunchbucket consumer have to undergo an extra step...
when you should know, full-well, that's not the name of the game for them---some (extra) Labor? Your product's shelf space could soon be delegated to a "mover".

I apologize that this post for some unknown reason rubbed you the wrong way, but it was never a sales plug saying buy mine for this price because it is better. Just wanted a consensus on what car people think of this kind of product, more or less. But if you secretly manufacture and distribute wash and detail products I totally understand I'll make sure in the future to be more thorough in my planning of thread topics, as to prevent upsetting other members. I appreciate the input, I know now to clean up my terminology before seeking informal reviews.

No need to apologize to me for engaging in a discussion...
On a discussion forum, no less!!

However:
See...You go along real nice, warm and fuzzy like;
And, then, you blatantly throw this wrench in the works...
for some unknown (to me) reason or another:

"But if you secretly manufacture and distribute wash and detail products I totally understand "

OK...I gotta go and iron my shoelaces now.
But I do wish you: Good Luck!! on your venture.

LoL
OMG

I'm not sure how members are supposed to give an "informal review" of a picture of a car and some bottles with duct tape on them. And if you intend to apply for a patent on those products, you'd better get going, you've got 364 days left now that you've made public disclosure.

I am not sure what you consider a "public disclosure". More like testing the water to see if its worth investing in.

You have described on a public forum your invention, that has likely started the clock ticking on the one year you have to file your patent application. Consult with your patent attorney.

I am wondering why are you trying to patent a wash system and sell the business at the same time?

You're right! The last thing I want is someone patenting spray bottles with duct tape before me!
