Waterless washes

No claims on the product. It's your product and you're here pushing it. That would be against the forum rules.

The color of the paint is white so it is hard to see how much dust, dirt or grime were on the surface. Maybe it was just light dust that few sprays and 1/8 of the towel were sufficient to clean two doors.

By the way, what's the tag line for the product? Is it "There's passion behind Hi Def Waterless Wash"?

I'd assume he was banned or he'd be back here trying to sell us more of his products.

What are you guys talking about, there was someone from HD here hawking their waterless wash?

He used the name hidef but I doubt he was affiliated with HD. He named the product and it wasn't anything Hd or 3D makes. I can't recall the name now.

Too bad few members were given the privilege to watch the video. :D

It was a classic 'how not to' in my book.

Sure if one were to search for the terms on youtube, it could be found.
Just look for the guy, with what looks like an old school red shop rag, grinding some dirt into the driver's side doors on a white car.
"Cleans" all the way to the bottom of the rear door, and then starts at the top of the driver's door, just for good measure with all that dirt from the rocker panel on the rear door and by the rear tire.

Ranks up there with washing a car the same way, maybe even toss in washing the rear tire & wheel while you are there ( with the mitt) and then slop the mitt directly on the trunk deck and start washing in a circle without going to a bucket ( not like the bucket would help a whole lot in that case ).
The Yahoo help video, with tossing the dirty water on the hood to "rinse" it and banging the filter on the ground right next to the wet vehicle was just as good.

- Is this a sign I am worse than I think I am. I look at a lot of the members here and think 'Glad I'm not that AR about detailing cars... '.
Ooops, I think I just noticed I have a problem.... All this time, no I can handle it. I won't get hooked... damn junkie dealers..

^LOL It was really not the best way to sell products to AGO members. I asked him about the method and even tried to "make sense" of the demo, but nothing can saved what I saw in the video.

That is very true, I don't think even the least AR member here would buy something based on that video.

I think the only way it could have been worse was by using a Mr Clean magic eraser on the paint.
