Wax for black vehicles under $50?

UW is a very good wax, some say better than my choice wax NXT but I found it hard to remove on my black car, even with thin coats, when I say it's hard to remove I mean it smears on me.
Do you have the same issue?

No offense to all who use boutique waxes, but ... I use Meg's Ultimate on my jet-black Saab. The key to making it look great is the prep, not the wax itself. After fulling prepping mine, I put on a coat of Meg's Ultimate Paste, let it cure a day, then another coat. Last time I did it was spring and the water still beads like crazy.

Meg's Ultimate gives a hard shiny finish. If I have time, I'll top it with a carnuba, which gives a deep, almost liquid finish. Looks amazing on a black vehicle.

how can i prep better by hand? i used a foam cannon with honeydew and leaf blower to dry. then used klasse AIO with polishin pal white pad then topped with ssii. would wolfgang or pinnacle cleansing lotion be better than klasse?

I had a hard time with Collinite 845, just could never get it to work good on my black Prius, it left smears behind. Going to try Fusion next as I use WG products.

Rather than setting a price for the final product, why not set a target for per application since pastes are usually much more cost effective than liquids.

I'd vote for Blackfire Wet Diamond. Not a wax, but longer protection and it looks almost as good IMO.
