What would be your choice for a decent wax for things like door jambs, undersides of hoods, trunk lids...stuff like that. It would prolly need to be easy to apply and remove because of all the nooks and crannies the wax could get into. I don't want to use my new jar of Fuzion because I think that it would be overkill for this type of use.

I'd think Collinite 845 would do the trick at a relatively low cost.

I will not wax the door jambs or underside of the areas that aren't exposed...BLASPHEMY!! I save time and just use Aquawax or a spray wax like Blackfire Carnauba spray wax. No need for anything else IMO.

How do you rinse off hydro without getting the interior wet

I think you could probably get HyrdO2 to work washing it off with a spray bottle.

However the best solution might be a WOWA sealant like Blackfire Crystal Seal, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal , Optimum Opti-Seal, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, or Zaino Clear Seal (BCS, WDGLS, OS, UPGP, Z-CS)

Oh...Aquawax is a good choice too, thanks Kamakaz.

I have a mist setting on my hose nozzle which I use for rinsing jambs and such.

After a strong cleaning I wipe with an alcohol prep and treat with Gtechniq Luquid Crystals C2V3 in the jambs and under sides of the hood and deck lid. it is as easy to apply as detail spray and It really does a great job of keeping it clean. What little gets back in rinses away with ease.

I realize its not wax, but it works well.

As said, anything sprayable is perfect. It makes cleaning jambs easier.

Also Pinnacle WW works great for quick cleanups on door jambs when they are just a bit dusty.

Make it easy!

Blackfire crystal seal. // Prima hydro max.

Yep, I gotta agree here, these WOWA type Sealants like this, or Ultima Paint Guard Plus, WG Liquid Seal, etc, are truly the cat's meow for such. No powdery residues hidden, to work your butt off to get rid of.

clean with No Rinse or Opti-Clean, protect with Opti-Seal or OCW
