Wax for light colors

I know there are ones geared for light colors, but can I use my Natty's Blue with decent results?
I have three cars lined up: red, silver, and cream. I might just use AIO and EXP and forget the carnuba.
I tell one faimily member I wanna detail theri car and now everyone wants it done! Maybe at least I can register here at AG for my upcoming wedding:grouphug:
 
Think I mentioned it to you before but I have EX-P and Natty's Blue on my white suv and never seen white have the deep, wet look that my truck has. I did a layer of AIO, 2 of EX-P, and 2 of Natty's Blue.
 
what sealants and waxes do you currently have at your disposal?

Dang that IS awesome!! It looks like milk! Anybody want to grab a straw and drink this baby with me?? :) Well anybody except Killr that is!! And he knows EXACTLY why! lol

For silver i tend to switch between Souveran and Sig II depending what mood i'm in, this is applied on top of Wolfgang DPGS.
 
I understand the sig series is really geared for lighter colors, silver in particular......I have both souveran and the signature wax.......
 
I omly have AIO< EXP, and Nat Bleu right now. SHould do the trick on most cars for now. I plan on upping my stash little by little. Kinda hard as I am getting everything aroudn for my wedding here shortly, but gonna keep gettign what supllies I can.
 
Wystang you deserve props for that super glossy white. IMO white has always been the hardest to gleem, the easiest to dirty, and my least favorite color to stand out or pop.

As for carnuabas alot work well on light cars and wont break the bank. Sig Series, Liquid Souveran, Nattys, and Clearkote Carnuaba Moose all look great.
 
to me, the key to white is to treat it like black. Have a perfectly polished surface, and then glaze and top with a quality carnauba. My personal favorite combo is RMG topped with paste glaz, but unfortunately, i've run out of that wonderful little wax :(

For the red, if you have a glaze, use it and top with natty's blue. if not, aio/natty's blue.
Silver, AIO/EX-P
Cream, AIO/EX-P, Natty's Blue
 
Please forgive my naivety; I’m a tyro at this detailing business. What is AIO. EX-P, IMO?
 
AIO= klasse all in one, a chemical cleaner
EX-P= poorboy's ex-p, a polymer sealant
RMG= clearkote's red moose machine glaze, a light chemical cleaner that leaves behind oils that enhance the wetness of the paint along with filling in light swirling
IMO= acronym for "in my opinion"
 
Thanks! That makes much more sense now. I'm eagerly awaiting my Porter Cable PoorBoy's kit. It should arrive in a couple of days. I'm a bit confused however, do I wax and then put on a glaze?
 
glaze comes before the wax. :) Glaze fills in any swirls or imperfections while adding gloss and wetness and the wax seals all that yummy stuff in! :D
 
Well just did the van with 2 coats AIO and one coat EX-P. Cleane dit up but no pop or depth. Keep in mind it is a daily driver that is old and never been taken care of other than car washes.
Anything you can suggest to top it with next week after another good wash?
 
What waxes do you have? Natty's blue or Souveran if you got it.
 
The paint may need to be polished to bring the luster out I would try PB Polish with carnuba.
