Wax or sealant for daughter

Get some Mckees hydro blue. Spray it on a clean wet car, rinse off with water under pressure, and it is fantastic. Simple, shiney, and protecting.

FK 1000p
Is it a problem if it goes on too thick like Collinite?

I am investing in Optimum hyper seal over Opti seal these days.

As much as I love Optimum's products, I just can't wrap my head around the OPT vs Opti-Coat product line thing. It makes no sense to me.

+1 on this. Applied it to a car 5 months ago and it's still repelling. Can't say enough good about it being the simplest application I've experienced.

Wow 5 months. It’s gone in 5 weeks tops around here. Realistic like 3 weeks

I hear ya.
Considering Opti-seal= $24.00 for 8 oz and Hyper-seal= $30.00 for 16oz, the hassle is negligible.

We would be better served if it was made more accessible.

Yeah, but....the real question:

Is there any difference between the two to warrant the cost/branding difference?

Hyper seal smells better and is blue ish!?

In my opinion Hyper seal has better tolerance to Wi winter. It seems to be thicker, flashes slower and gives a more carnuba look than Opti Seal.
They are both great but I like Hyper seal better. Hyper Seal the bargain in my eyes.
Sucks there is only one place to get it.(correct me if I'm wrong)

I have been milking my Gloss Coat through the second winter with it and I am surprised how well it stands up.

I’ll have to get through or give away this bottle of opti seal and give hyper seal a try in its place.

Haven’t tried opti seal as a drying aid yet, but the optimum line really works well for those quick hit not-super-dirty jobs.

Hyper Seal has SiO2 in it which makes it cost more. Not to mention the better looking bottle lol.
