Collinite 915 Vs. 845. How do these waxes compare as far as looks go? I know 845 will be easier to apply, but how are the looks compared to 915. I know proper prep is the key to the perfect shine, I would just like to know how these compare. Also, how does Meguires #26 compare in the looks department? My car is black, but I would be using them on all different colors. Feed back please Thanks for your time, have a great day!

915 is supposed to be the best looking Collinite wax. I've never used 915, but I have 845 and I can't imagine 915 being any harder to remove than 845. 845 is so hard to buff off I'm scared to use it.

I would go with 915. I have 915, 476s, and 845 and they are all great. I rarely use 845, using 476s most of the time.

On to my opinion on 915; its a great wax, balancing longevity with looks. Its one of my LSPs of choice for my car, and has the most intense beading I have ever seen. It is easier to remove than 845, but make sure it hazes!

Thanks for you replies. Any comments on #26 vs Collinite for looks?

I was satisfied with 845 and did not have any problems with removal. I thought it looked pretty good on my silver Tacoma.

proper prep with make all waxes look their best. Certain spray waxes and quick detailers can add gloss and other attributes to cover up a waxes shortcomings in the looks department too.

I would say that Megs #26 is warmer and deeper, while colly 915 is a bit more reflective and sharp.

Do the looks differ from paste to liqued on the Megs 26? I know some waxs like souveran, the looks differ from paste to liqued and some waxes pretty much have the same look.

I actually like the looks of 845 and have had no problems with removal.
