Wax recommendations (again)

With a sale on again, maybe this time I will jump on a nice wax. So here is what I am looking for. Under $100, moreso around the $30-$60 range ( I have a budget ). Durability is not a concern as this wax will not be used on daily drivers. I am looking for visual impact. Something that has as much of a wet look and wow factor I can get for that price range. Something that will look great on both a white car, and a dark blue car. Ease or pleasure of use would be a nice bonus. And of course, this wax will only be used on well prepared paint ( I know better :) )

In your price range I would go with Pinnacle XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba wax. This created a very nice gloss on my car. This is priced at $35.00

I also love Chemical Guys 50/50. I used this last night and created a nice depth in my paint. This is priced at $59.99

Dodo Juice Hard Candy or Rainforest Rub, also Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid Paste Sealant.
 
Maybe look into Chemical Guys Pete's 53 or one of the Migliore waxes.

Spend a little extra money to buy Pinnacle Souveran. You won't regret it!
 
Polish it properly and use a good finishing polish with good technique. Then pick a recommendation above. That's how to get that look u are after.
 
I did a side by side of pinnicle souveran and Ultima paint guard...like the candy look of ultima more...
 
Assuming you have your car polished

-Max Wax is great for the price

Spot on Jim!! :props:

Good surface preparation followed by a finish polish will give the sealant or wax that extra glow which elude many a detailer. A finish riddled with swirls and other surface defects when waxed over will still not give you the desired affect...
 
I'd like to see someone use Griot's new Premium Carnauba Paste Wax and give us a review.

Just sayin'.

I think the best recommendation I ever got here - was get the surface with polish/compounds to where you want it in gloss, expect no add'l gloss from the wax. Then wax it for protection. For years I was never prepping enuf...

Agree 100%
Any wax or sealant over poorly prepared surface will only enhance the imperfection.IMHO:props:
