wax/sealent on rubber near windows

Does anybody have any quick tricks to cut the wax/sealent off on the rubber trim?
I was thinking of using paint thinner but I know its not good on rubber


What do you think of Duragloss Car Wash?

You could also try some All Purpose Cleaner on a Microfiber/Utility towel.
 
A good degreaser - APC, the Griot's product, even trusty old Waxblaster - and a nylon brush for agitation. And a roll of painter's tape so you don't make the same mistake next time. :)
 
APC and nylon brush. Let the APC soak 30-60 seconds then hit with the brush. Has always worked for me. Usually only on my own cars. I spend the extra time/effort to tape off when doing other peoples' vehicles.
 
Take a medium stiff but soft brush, add a little APC onto the brush, scrub well and rinse well.
That's how I do it anyway and works well.
I do this about every 10th wash to make sure the rubber seals is super clean then add protection.
My rubber seals look as good as when I bought the car.

This is the method I use. I use the mothers detail brushes and clean the trim before my wash and then after the wash I apply protectant. I actually did this over the weekend again and you will be surprised how dirty rubber trim gets.

I like to use duragloss 531 or 341 to protect. Both work great.
 
Yeah, you know like anything else, prep work is everything , no type of dressing would look good nor hold up.
Ever tried dressing on a tire that wasn't cleaned very well?
The tire just don't look good if not for good prep work.
