Wax Test Report (46 waxes tested)

I wouldn't follow the guru reports :p. C'mon, they tested with SOuveran and didn't even give it props in that article! Pretty biased to me.

What is Guru reports anyways? It doesnt seem like you can subsribe to it and there is only like 3 issues......

Not sure :p never heard of em until I saw the test of the wax. Maybe P21S paid them to make them number one :p

Think about how hard it would be to test 48 waxes! All the diffrent recomended prep!
Every wax manufature has different wax prep instructions. In order to do it right you would have to find 48 perfectly matching panels. Then you would have to buy all of the recom. pre-wax products for each wax. The scope of this test is ridiculous. I would rather see only 5 waxes tested from each catagory. Sealant, high-end, and low, and nuba, high and low. Thats only 20 waxes, even that seems difficult. And then you have to think about who i qualified to judge the results. I read alot of scientific journals (Athletic Trainer) and this sounds like it was flawed from the start.

I have never used Souveran, does it really not have good durability?

Like other "show" waxs they start failing in about 4 weeks maybe less depending on car soap being used and other factors.

P21S has a lot of beeswax, which beads water like crazy, but gives no protection to the paint.

I remember sharing this fact before .... P21S won the report for two reasons. It was found easier to get and it looked better in the rain. Pinnacle is much easier to remove, and somehow I doubt they WOWO'd as they could not even use Zaino correctly.
