Thats why there are so many add on`s for our cars, as they say whatever blows wind up ur skirt.

When u post on these forums showing ur work or toys they come out to bash or try and downgrade what you like or drive....

If you Rim Divas must know I purchased the car in March 2012. I sank my expendable cash into performance parts such as a Cold Air Inductions intake, an Apex scoop/WW relocation kit, and a Corsa catback exhaust.

If you're that unhappy about the stock wheels that GM put on these cars I'd be willing to accept your cash donations for a set of $4000 wheels.

Also, in true waxaholic fashion I applied S100 paste to these spare tires.

It's a shame that I am going to bail on my own thread.

Nice Camaro, I think the wheels are meant to be throwbacks. From a time when performance & power were what it was all about. For me, waxing is not a waste of time or money, even if you do it multiple times a week. I see waxing a car as therapeutic. It is like meditation, I feel a sense of calm and relaxation when waxing a car. Not to mention there's nothing like a fresh coat of wax when it comes to looks, protection and beading. My name is Rich and I'm a wax-waster. I apply something on my truck abouot 3x a week & I love it. Just bought a gallon of Pinnacle Sovereign spray wax to detail my truck every other day. I may hit it with some of the many paste waxes once in a while, a section here & a section there so theres always something new. So far the Pinnacle looks the best that I've tried but after all the hype about the V7 I'll have to give that a try.
 
This has to be the first introduction thread to go 12 pages. Who knew wasting wax was such a hot topic...
 
OP - nice camaro man! I was looking at the new generation Camaro before I purchased my Covette. I simply couldn't wait for the ZL1 to come out and to this day I still debate selling the Vette for the ZL1. It's a fantastic ride with plenty of power! Don't let anyone tell you any different.

Oh and I suppose you can call me a wax "waster" myself. I managed to go through a 250ml pot of swissvax concorso in less than one year. Let's just say my vette has plenty of protection!!

General Motors and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have announced a recall for the Chevrolet Camaro's: Mounted Spare Tire/Wheel-Set [four (4) each].
This Camaro recall has been discussed before, but now we have the official language and affected unit numbers to share.
The recall of 1,234 Camaros is due to the reasons listed below.

Hey, I'm not trying to bash, but you guys that wax your car twice a week, did you ever think all that rubbing during wax application could actually cause scratches, marring, or excessive wearing of the clear coat? I mean, if you wax twice a week, that's about 100 times a year. In a perfect world there would be no dust or dirt on the paint or the applicator each time during the whole process, but we all know the world isn't perfect. We also know that, depending on the applicator and the paint, that some clear coats can just visibly scratch from wiping them with foam or microfiber, depending on a lot of variables. And, even water applied on a foam pad using a DA has some cut, as remember, aggressiveness is determined by pad and polish. Could all this waxing be prematurely wearing out the clear coat? Also, are you doing a 2 bucket wash prior to each wax? That would mean in two years, you paint would be rubbed down by a micro fiber applicator or foam applicator and a wash mitt 200 times! Does anyone consider this could actually be bad for paint?? Also, just wondering, when you switch up to different waxes, are you stripping the old wax with something, or just applying a different wax on top of the old? Comments appreciated. Thanks.
