Which waxes and sealants do not stain plastic and rubber trim? Tried to do a search didn't find much info.

Thanks

Max Wax, Signature Series II, Souveran, Natty's none of those stain. :) souveran will even remove stains from old waxes.

painters tape on the plastic or use a cleaner and dressing on the plastic pieces.then use any wax!

I been thinking about using MaxWax on my plastic and rubber, instead of 303. So far its working out, almost a week now. I will let yal know how it holds up.

Thanks guys, how about poorboy's EX Sealant with carnauba? Anyone know if this will stain?

P21S does not stain. In fact I use it on plastic trim and it wipes right off of rubber.

clearkote CMW did not stain trim when I used it.
Both my cars hv a lot of black textured trim and I don't use a lot of LSPs because I like to apply via 4" pad/machine.
Liquid Souveran didn't seem to stain either.

Souveran is what i used to remove the stains from my rubber trim around the windows and molding when all else failed.rejuvenated the rubber for sometime..

Thanks for the responses, does anyone know if Poorboy's EX with carunauba stains?

I find most staining with polishes ... they seem to whiten rubber surrounds. Good thing that Pinnacle Pad Cleaner removes them easily.

I've never experienced any staining with NXT Liquid Wax.
Others are.....
Max Wax
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran
XMT Glaze

Wax / Sealant stain on chrome trim

My Audi has chrome trim on the door panels. It looks like it's stained with either sealant or wax. I tried applying Wolfgang polish enhancer to remove the old wax and sealant, but I had very little sucess. I only used a Micro Fiber cloth to try to buff the stains out. Not aggressive enough?? Is it cheaper to replace the chrome strip or try something else to remove the stains?
