Waxing in the sun

I do it in the bay at the pay-n-spray sometimes. The owner sees me and doesn't seem to care.

I went outside after I posted this and just did some window work on the RED Tundra and some more window work on my Hottie wifes car. I swear there was not a cloud in the sky !!! The window work left this indoor working kind of a guy drenched and thinking waxing when the sun sets is a really really good idea !!!

Ha! Working in the direct sun in hot climates is definitely more work, but if you are using the right products and doing small sections the removal should not be that much more difficult.
 
+1 for poorboy's. After struggling with not being able to escape direct sun when I first started my mobile business, I completely rethought my arsenal and haven't looked back. Also, Meguiars ultimate liquid wax is great also.

I just used Collinite 845 this past Sunday on a white 2007 Honda Ridgeline. No shade for me and it was about 11am and high 80's here in the Bay Area in California. Machine applied and wiped off without a hitch. The panels weren't too hot as it was white paint, not black or another darker color. I guess it would really depend what color you are working on.
 
You just need to get the procedure down. 1 quarter panel, 1 cold one...1 door, 1 cold one....
Break often!
 
^^ Exactly. It's not the direct sunlight that's the problem, it's the temperature of the surface.
