Waxing in the sun

What is a good wax if any exist to use in the Sun because I'm here in San Antonio and a lot of times I can't get shade to do my waxes

I have just learned that Poorboys World pruducts were made to be user friendly in direct sunlight. I wish I would have known this before I placed my recent order.

Not really a wax but I recommend either optimum opti seal or Meguiars ultimate paste wax. I've used both in the direct sun many of times with great results.

SON1C Carnaubavore wax was designed to give great results in
direct sunlight. I have used it myself in the sun and got great results. Sold at the autogeek store.

While I haven't used the waxes in the sun, I can say that Poorboy's Black Hole works great in direct sun. I applied it in direct sun on a black car this weekend with great results.

If the glaze works as advertised, I'd expect their waxes will too.

I have experienced excellent durability with their products and they are very user freindly down here in the HOT SCORCHING Florida sun.
 
Only someone from florida can relate to waxing cars in the sun like we do hear in san antonio haha.... think I'm going with poorboys... thanks again everyone

I live in VEGAS and u guys don't know heat!!!
Death Vally is only a few hours away.

I've lived in both and now in Vegas, San Antonio was the worst, there is just something about the air that makes it feel worse than Florida when it's 95 and 100% humidity, and worse than Vegas when it's 120. Although the electric bill here sucks.
 
I've been to vegas and dry heat I can handle.....I've been to Louisiana and although it gets hot and humid here I don't know how y'all make it in Louisiana. ... if anyone in here is from California please don't comment haha

I've lived here all my life and every summer I get upset at how hot it gets and how many ppl want their cars washed lol

I think I remember reading somewhere, that even though there are products that are "safe" or ok to use in direct sunlight, its never a good idea to apply products on a surface that is hot to the touch.

Shade can be easily manufactured, its called a pop up tent. They are about $100 for a decent one, more for the stronger more elaborate ones and they make shade anywhere you need it. I used one in my driveway here in Florida all the time when I am working on a car.
