I was waxing my car in direct sunlight which i know that was a mistake.... It left a lot of streaks like wax is baked on not sure how to explain but I can't get them to go away I will post a picture to show if I can get one but I need to fix this fast please help and the car was getting really hot not a good combination... I tried spray wax to get it off but it didn't help and I've tried to buff it out with a microfiber cloth but nothing with work and its not like baked on you can't see the wax just streaks please help

Try rubbing on a little more wax on the streaks and remove right away. If that doesn't work some polish by hand will do the trick.

I agree. Remove quickly, the solvents in the wax should help soften the dried wax.

First move to shade and wait till it cools down. Hot panels change products.

I hazed a car with Ult. Polish and then I water spotted it with Ultima Waterless. All this while it was hot outside.

First, get the paint cooled down. Try applying detail spray with a damp MF towel.

Has Anyone had this problem before and you can't see the wax which I don't understand how these methods can help will someone please explain

someone mentioned it already but I'll just say it again...

Let your car paint cool down, and then apply the same wax on it, and remove, it should come off clear.

Well if you let the panel cool, then some quick detail spray and gently buff off. Dark cars really show strwaking. Personally when I wax a dark car, I wait 12 hours after buffing, use a qd spray and plush MF, continously buffing, then pull it into the sun to check my work. Any streaks in the sun, I just re-qd and thats all

Polish, dish soap, and goo gone will strip the wax completely off

Sent from my Note II using AG Online

My suggestion would be to call the company that made your wax, see what they say you can do. I would now start by washing the car with a strong solution Dawn dish soap maybe a couple times Dawn will strip almost all waxes off, it dissolves the oils. It will all work out but you need some help. I wouldn`t do anything other than good washings until you get some help from the company.

Yes gold class liquid wax just got off the phone with them

The reason I ask is Meguiars has a extremely knowledgeable guy Michael Stoops he`s on Meguiarsonline.com he`s there all the time and if anyone can help he`s the guy. you could go there sign up and ask for him with a thread and tell him your problem. He will answer.

What did Meguiars say for you to do? The important thing is did you get a knowledgeable person that knows.

He said to use a damp microfiber cloth then if that doesn't work wash the car then if that doesn't work wash with dish soap and I think I'll sign up thanks I just want to get this off it looks really bad
