I've used different products on different sides of my car recently

Tonight I put Chemical Guys Black Light on the passenger side.

Im now heading down to the garage and considering putting Dodo Juice Hard Candy on the front half of the passenger side. then about an hour later I will top will Dodo Juice Light Fantastic for both hard and soft wax toppers.

and on the rear half of the car Im thinking about topping the black light with
DoDo Juice Blue Velvet.

I was kinda hoping this colored wax may produce a very very slight warmer tint to the
white Satin Pearl Paint.

Pics will be posted tomorrow morning sometime

stay tuned.

will be going on my 13' Subaru Outback White Satin Pearl

panels go in this order to see if I or you can tell any differences.

1. Front quarter = Hard Candy and Light Fantastic 1 coat each

2. Passenger front door = Hard Candy 1 coat

3. Passenger Rear Door = Blue Velvet 2 coats

4. Rear Quarter panel = CG Hybrid V7

* all topped over Chemical Guys Black Light.

I do have a quick question since a few senior members have replied and subd

What is the difference between DODO Juice and The DODO Juice PRO lines??

The 3 that I have are all regular but I'm Interested in the PRO Versions but haven't seen them avail for sale

The differences between the regular and pro are that the pro waxes are a hybrid wax -> thus containing sealant properties / man made etc
these boast a different look and are supposed to have an extended durability
whereas the regular dodos you have are pure nubas, not that they are just nuba wax, but everything is basically natural

for the core 8 of dodo
RR: carnauba wax, candelilla wax, beeswax
HC: first clas Brazilian carnauba, Candelilla wax
BA: yellow beeswax, Banana-oil, Brazilian carnauba
OC: rich-orange-oil, first clas Brazilian carnauba, yellow beeswax
PH: montan wax + Brazilian Beeswax
BV: carnauba wax, montan wax, jojoba oil
LF: first clas Brazilian carnauba, white beeswax, rich coconut oil
DW: coconut oil, almond oil, white beeswax, white carnauba wax

Thank you so much for that.. had no idea..

How awesome to know whats the makeup of each wax

I think I'll def have to give one of the pro series a try though to see what I like and dislike about them.
since I love sealants look already.. the hybrid version of the two interest me..

can u get the pro versions from AG?

yes I've purchased all of my dodo juice through AG, if you want to try a wax that should be incredible before AG is out and you have to buy overseas, look into bouncer's satsuma rock, its a wax made by a guy renowned on the internet as the bouncer -> his real name is jay -> great guy and he makes all of the waxes himself, however dodo juice has kind of mentored him from my understanding and help him label and distribute some of his line
with all that said I'd definitely recommend blue velvet pro, I really enjoyed it, easy on easy off, people say this about a lot of products, but this wax really does go incredibly far

this is all I used to cover an entire 79 vette (pretty big w/ a ton of paint)

lol I became so intrigued by the line I had to do a ton of research before sinking 100+ into it lol, so with the extensive research and the hands on time I guess you're right lol :D
however cm8 if you keep posting extensive reviews like your last, you'll quickly surpass me lol :buffing: again great work on that, very thorough

I've been wanting to try bouncer out. I have the straight eight kit, just waiting on a good day to try it out on different sections of the car.

EDIT: I think you meant you put these waxes over blacklight. I still think you should have done a comparison on bare paint. ;)

Why did you top with blacklight? Kinda defeats the purpose, IMO. ;)

I worded it wrong I guess. what I wrote but I see how it came out wrong was that I topped them all over the blacklight.. but I see now how that reads wrong..

I put the Blacklight down first then Topped with the different wax.

I know better to finish off with the blacklight.. just a simple typing error

* Also the only part of my car I haven't done any treatment besides wash in dry is the rear of the car.

Therefore I will put no Menzerna powerlock or blacklight down
I will just do a wash and dry and then apply wax to see and compare results and decide what I like best

for this what do yall think would look best? give me your vote for the Rear

Light fantastic only

Blue Velvet only

Hard Candy only

Hard candy and light fantastic

Hard Candy and Blue Velvet

Jrocket maybe it's the combination of cloudy day and white car but I really couldn't see an appearance difference. I thought it would be difficult to tell a difference in the panels anyway but I think you are going to need a clear bright sunny day for it to be a fair test.
