I was talking to Mike Phillips today and once again he reiterated that the Flex P14-2-150 is his new favorite rotary polisher and he was happy to have #00002 home here at Autogeek so he can put it to work! I know a few AGO members that have secured 00005 and 00006 so get in early to reserve your piece of detailing history!

Was wondering who recieved the new Flex #00003 & #00004 ?

I don't know for sure but I have a couple of good leads.

1. They were donated to NASA engineers to study and improve the space program

or

2. President Obama and Vice President Biden may be getting new Flex Polishers for Christmas

In reality they may still be in the posession of the engineers at Flex to show as demos since I know they gave us #1 and #2

Of course if NASA suddenly comes out with a new Flex Shuttle or Air Force One has an amazing shine, we'll know why.

I thought MAYBE you grabbed up one Im the MAN

I really do have to hand it to you guys.... you certainly know your customer base and how to market to them effectively!

Doesn't mean I'm ready to pony up $380, but that's not the point.

Not a bad price for a new, name brand, small, powerful, quite, polisher. I'll make the price of the unit back on my first job with it.

Thanks for posting the price.

And Autogeek steps up to the plate once again for its' customers. :props: Man, someone was lucky enough to already pick up #5? The old saying holds true here, you snooze you lose!

When your name is Joe, you can do those things. Joe is a magician with paint.

Colin

Indeed. He's the US version of Paul Dalton (who uses a high priced Festool Shinex rotary if I recall correctly).

If only I made that kind of money to justify expensive tools!

I just put in my pre-order for it! I wasn't going to but couldn't resist!!!

I live 15 minutes from Joe, he polished my 03 z06 a year and a half ago. Seeing the job he did inspired me to learn how to do this stuff on my own. :props:

Just bit the bullet.

I have been holding out for a Festool Shinex for over a year now, but who knows if it will ever come to the US. This looks amazing and just as good!

Figured I might as well grab one of the first units :D

I'm with you! I've been debating for a few months now to buy the Flex, but now that they are releasing this one and AG is doing the extras give away with the pre-order I might as well take advantage! AG is going to drive me to bankruptcy!

They charge for shipping on the deposit, is that something that should be happening?

I noticed that as well. I just figured we would be paying for the shipping now with the pre-order instead of at the time of final payment... maybe?

I noticed that too...Assuming that they just won't charge you the shipping when they actually ship it out to you?

Maybe Meghan will see this and be able to shed some light on it?
