I can't believe we don't have one here, but I can't find one. I did find the one by Sparkie http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...5706-product-abbreviation-chart-acronyms.html but I didn't find it very helpful. Our new one needs to have more than just products, it needs terms, like LSP (Last Step Product), 2BM (2 Bucket Method), GG (Grit Guard or Griot's Garage), BDWM (Bill D Wash Method).

It needs to be started by someone with Mod. or Admin. privileges so the first post can be updated with new acronyms. I'm not sure what subforum it should be in, maybe the Introduce Yourself, or Detailing University, or Detailing 101.

I realize it's ramp-up to Detail Fest, so this isn't going to get done anytime soon.

I agree. I've been on here almost daily for a couple months and still can't figure them all out!

I vote for just stop using acronyms period....problem solved! :props:

Yes. There are way too many acronyms used on this forum. Lately I have tried to start typing out the whole name of the product but that gets somewhat comical when I mention the same thing a few times.

Just wanted to point out that there is a sticky, and if we do make an effort to direct the questions and acronyms to a central location, then we won't have repeated threads on the same subject (or at least if we do we can direct people to it) :props:

:iagree:Thanks Claude, I was looking for the same thread, I saw it one time and printed it when I started on AGO. This really ehlped starting out.

Even though outdated, new can be added, just wish I had the time right now to compile list in another format to share with group.
