Weather Stripping?

Anything you guys use on weather stripping that doesn't run off but suppplies good UV protection and prevents drying out? I believe mine are made of silicone but not sure.

Also...what do you use on black plastic pieces on the outside of the car that won't run off and again provides good UV protection and makes it look black like it's supposed to?

how do you guys apply it? mine always gets on the paint when spreading with a micro.

I was thinkin of using one of those paint edgers, hold it against the glass, while using your finger inside a microfiber cloth dowsed with the product and run along the top edge of the stripping, shouldn't get any on the glass, then hold it on the paint side and run your finger along the bottom edge, you could probably use any type of thin straight edge, like cardboard or sumthin, course I'm talking about the stripping on the outside on top of the door, all else should be easy.

I use 303 with a small (6"x2") piece of cardboard. Works well, just take your time.
