I will be cleaning my mother in laws WT's this weekend for Mother's Day while we are there and I'll have before and afters. These are the light gray and I expect them to be bad, a great test for the kit. These are also in the car year round, both front and back mats too!
Sorry but I didn't take pics but if my word is worth anything I can assure you that the WT combo knocked it out, no problem. Not sure what they do to make it work the way it does but it comes out "like new"
I am very happy that I found this thread. My grey Weathertechs are looking dull even after many cleanings with an APC. I like to use Blackfire BF-450 and although it works very well, there is still a hint of beige to the grey floor liners. I just purchased the WeatherTech cleaner and protectant with a discount coupon and I am looking forward to using them.
I have Weathertech beige floor liners and use the cleaner and protectant. I think you will be pleased with the results. Just recently cleaned the liners and they look almost brand new.
It's getting close to the time when the Weather Techs come out and when they do they'll get a good cleaning/conditioning with the combo. I've done a couple cleanings with carwash soap while washing the car this winter and the protectent has done it's job, didn't even have to reach for the combo
I've done one cleaning since re-installing these early last month. I just used whatever pre-wash was in my IK Foam 9, let it dwell and rinsed away and let it air dry and simple final wipe....looked brand new! The protectant is the key here!
If your WeatherTechs are looking a little rough, get the combo and knock it out, you'll thank me later
Just did my 2nd, my own post here planted the seed. I just foamed it with CG's Glossworkz, let it dwell and got in the shower with it, good use if excess water!
View attachment 65556 I use Mckees 37 Tire and Rubber rejuvenator and then top off with Carpro Pear 1:1 and wipe down with microfiber towel. Left side shows it dressed and right side shows it after being cleaned. These aren’t weathertechs but they came out pretty good.View attachment 65557
