I did like some of the guys mentioned...I did the following:
Looked at my competition. I noticed all and I mean all the other detailers NEVER update their website. Outdated information would deter me from them. Also most rushed to put a site together and where I am from, people make decisions off appearances. Sad but true its probably this way everywhere. But taking the time to put a well layed out and presentable site that makes people think, if you put time into your website then they feel as if you will treat their vehicles better than they do. I have had some say that I have too much information on my site but I have always been the type to inform people that way they do not have to question. I also don't mind educating my clients with the little knowledge I have. It shows I actually care about what I do.
Last...pictures pictures pictures! I believe firmly in photos. Every client I finish I put photos up until I get my own shop, where then I plan to put photos of my work from wall to wall.
