Hello everyone,

Looking for constructive criticism on the site and business card. I do all website work along with any editing. Let me know the things you like, dislike, would change, would add/remove, etc.

first though was "are you a painter?"
Since your talking about mirrors get some reflection shots of your work.

I like your site. But I don't like prices on work, ever car is different.
Your site should show your work, it does, and get people to call you so you can get the sale.
Love the FAQ, I'm going to steal that from you, lol.

Thanks for the input.

I am not a painter, I'll have to come up with some new ideas. Any thing you guys can throw my way?

I had a line on the Services page with something along the lines, "We do not believe in stringent pricing because every vehicle is different in condition, etc". I'll go add it back it, must've gotten deleted.

I like you site.

Overall it's very good. Here are the things I would personally change:

- Your logo is a bit strange. At first glance it looks like you are pooring paint or oil, that doesn't give a good first impression. I would definatelly change that because people will very likelly not take the time to understand the concept.

- You are not accepting credit cards and bank cards... why? Services like Square and Paypal are very low cost per use (2.5%) and no monthly fee. All you need is a smartphone. If you don't have one, I am sure you can get an older generation one for very low cost on eBay. Something like an iPhone 3gs or 4 should work perfectly. I would really think about adding that if I were you because it doesn't look Professional at all to only accept cash and checks. If you are worried about the fee, raise you base prices and offer a discount for cash payment.

That's pretty much it, good work!

these we're my imediate thoughs, as in what your customer might think when they first see your stuff.

I didn't see your disclamer on your site.
I looked at it as a customer might, quickly.
So take it with a grain of salt.

I liked the website but I don't understand the paint spill in logo... I agree with Calend you are killing yourself not accepting credit cards/debit not to many people have cash all the time and making them work more to go to the bank. Get the Square

Thanks, I'll look into the Square. EDIT: Made an account with Square, should be receiving the reader in a few days.

Any logo ideas I could try?

I really appreciate the ideas/criticism so far!

Logo ideas are hard. If you want something similar to what you had, try replacing the paint (or what ever that liquid is) by something related to detailing.

Like, you could be pouring a bucket of sudsy water, or having a foam lance shoot at the text or something.

Website looks good and I agree the logo on the business cards needs to be changed. I'm not a fan of stuff on the back of business cards but thats just me.

Still working on card designs.

I did order the Square Reader to accept plastic. Arrived today. Pretty excited for that. :dblthumb2:
