So as im working on my website right now i was thinking of something. You know how on craigslist you can add "keywords" to your ad for instance if i were selling a honda civic i could add other cars that are similar like a corolla under keywords this way when some one looks for a corolla my honda would come up too giving me more exposure. Well does google work the same way? For instance if i put all the area codes zip codes city names and such around me would it give me a better chance at popping up on googles first page when some one searches my city for a mobile detailer?

I planned on making the font for these key words the same color as my background so they arent visible btw.

Thanks guys :)

You will have a better chance of paying to have your website featured by all the big search engines. If you don't chances are your website won't even show up. Did you register your domain?

Not quite. At one point the algorithm was like that but what you mentioned has more so become what is called, "spam."

Google is looking relative content and inbound links from relative and real websites. On your website, include your region in this format called NAT

Name
Address
Telephone

And use your NAT on various websites and directories. That will improve your chances of showing up in location-related searches.
