weird stains on car

I have some weird stains on the car.

there small white specks stuck on plastics of sideview mirror.
I can't clean it with degreaser

there is one blob of yellowish stain on hood near the wiper blade which I can't clean it with degreaser either. it looks like dried oil stains.

Are these stains or is there actually something on top of the paint?

Id GUESS since there are no pics that they would maybe be road paint. Weird that they are yellow and white just like the 2 most common paint colors on the roads.

That was my first thought too, but kind of odd that it would hit just the mirror. If it's on top of the paint clay would be the first option.

I had this same problem myself! My suspect is the paint in our office’s basement parking that seems like flaking off already.

Come to think of it, i have not seen those white specks after i clayed. Hmm.

Try claying the area and see if that does it.

I would try using something like Tarminator, Tar-x, citrol, or rapid remover. If it's road paint try spraying the textured plastic with one these products that contain powerful citrus solvents then use a non-abrasive scrub pad to remove the contaminant. If it's smooth plastic, try claying first.
