I would just like to say thank you and welcome to the forum to Dustin who is the sales supervisor for Griots Garage. Dustin will be on the forum from time to time to answer any Griot qustions you might have. His user id is GriotsGarage if you need to contact him. Thank you Dustin for joining, and helping us out!

Hi everyone!

Please feel free to PM me any questions or start a thread and yell at me! I have been with Griot's for 2 years now, but have owned my own detailing business on the side for about 8. I have shown cars and love everything about keeping them clean! Below is a picture of my 2006 xA, my pride and joy right now and my other pride, my bike which sadly gets more love in photos than the road because I travel so much! I love cars, trucks, bikes and shoes (but thats another story for another time!!!!!)

Meghan was correct in saying I am the sales supervisor for Griot's but am also the corporate events coordinator, blog writter, and all around car nerd. Working for Griot's is more a lifestyle than a job!

I look forward to being a part of this community, everyone associated with AG has been great and this company is awesome.

Oh yeah, just to clear up an confusion, I signed up the other day as ohcanada_00 and then the idea popped into my head to do this as Griot's Garage so here I am ready, able and willing to help you with anything Griot's Garage related.

That Scion looks pretty sweet, love the bronze wheels...are they Volks?

That bike is pretty nice too!

Anyways, welcome aboard! You'll fit right in here...we're all car nuts to some extent. :p

Wow those pipes on that bike are glowing!!! Some nice rides you have there, looking forward to doing business with your company!

Since we are loving on Griots in this thread, I am looking for what Griots kits you would like to see us offer at Autogeek. I know we have had some requests, I just want to make sure you get what you want!

Well, how timely. I just ordered my first Griot's product from AutoGeek today. The Wheel Cleaner. Seems like a nice deal. I'l be testing it on a 911 Carrera Saturday. :)

I'd really like to hear more information on the two rubber cleaners Griots sells. I get a number of cars that have been neglected or have older trim. I'd like to understand when it's appropriate to use the Rubber Prep versus Rubber cleaner. Obviously, there is a significant difference in price between the products.

Those pipes have only looked like that twice, once when I bought the bike, and in that picture!!!! They are a PAIN to keep clean, you sneeze and they oxidize!

As far as answers to your questions, the wheels are Work Emotion Xd-9and I would take a bullet the heart before I let anything happen to them! Thank you for the compliments!

PerroneFord - Thank you for giving us a shot! The wheel cleaner has quite a following in the PCA and other Porsche crowds so I bet you'll love it. To answer your question about the Rubber Cleaner vs. Rubber Prep, we did a great piece on our blog located here: Tire Care Secrets Part 1: Cleaning | In My Garage

It basically boils down to using Rubber Prep to prepare the surface and ridding the tire of old dressings, mold release wax and other contaminants. I use Rubber Prep two or three times a year and whenever I buy new tires.

Rubber Cleaner is a great every wash degreaser and cleaner that wont dry out rubber or leave it brown and nasty. I use this every time I wash the car.

Seems simple enough. I'll check out the link.

I became aware of Griots years ago when I had a BMW. Seems there is a good following among the German car enthusiast.

Thanks for the quick answer.

We love German cars!

Not a problem, I live for this stuff! Please let me know if you have more questions.

I've been a Griot's customer for at least five years and can heartily endorse their products. I don't use them exclusively, but Griot's products are generally my "go to" care care products. While everyone has their own preferences, I hope they give Griot's a chance as they are excellent products.

Thank you! Actually its funny Gunsliger, your avatar photo hangs on our wall of fame in the contact center! I stare at that picture 5 days a week!

I like Griot's products...what else can I say. There's a lot of great car care products on the market and I'm glad Autogeek picked up the line. I think you'll get more converts as I am one.

I still say you guys should attend venues like Carlisle...you'll pick up even more customers if they see the product and the results.

Hi Dustin, I am Max from Argentina. Is there a change to include more Griot´s Garage products in Autogeek? I think you have great products such as hose nozzle´s (Multi-Pattern Hose Nozzle And Car Wash Dispenser / Pistol Grip Nozzle) and bags (The Essential Bag Only / Water Resistant Trunk Bag with Pockets) that at Autogeek can´t be found and I think people will be very pleased to be able to find it here. If your answer is yes, Is there a chance to get them at Autogeek to include them in my father's day order to take advantage of the BOGO Meghan will be very kind to provide us :D?

We are taking on a few more products with each order from Griots, so you never know what you might find on our site.

Ah, I knew they looked familiar! Now I remember being torn between those and the Cr-Kais on my '07 Si...been a little while since I've been in the import scene!

I have been using Griots products on my Vette since my detailer turned me on to them. They are great and now better since Autogeek carries them.
