I usually detail at least 1 car every weekend, whether it's my own or someone else's. If anyone has any requests for products they would like reviewed, let me know!

I know there are a lot of choices out there, and it can be a real pain in the butt picking the right product. Since we have such a wide variety of products available, I thought I would post this thread so I can make my time detailing even more useful by providing insight for you guys and gals.

So whether it's anything from a wash mitt to a polisher, feel free to make a request! I will try my best to respond to each request w/a review including pictures and whatnot.

LC vs. Cobra pads. I need to order some pads soon. I'm very leary of "new" pads (Cobra) and don't want to waste my money. As it stands now, I'll be going LC but I'll listen to reviews on the Crobras.

I prefer the Cobra X-Groove pads over the LC CCS pads on my Flex 3401.

I wanna see a review of the new Edge 3k CCX pads and get an ETA on the Edge adapter for the Flex 3401.

:D

I would love to see a review with polycharged UPP. I've been looking for a durability review since it's release but none so far. Or the new WG 3.0 sealant, but I want a UPP test if not I'll buy it and do my own lol.

i will be doing my truck this week with all new liquid sovereign with poly charger. I will let you know what it looks like and post some pics. I have a black 07 Chevy Avalanche. I will also be doing a 07 Chevy Monte Carlo in lazer blue next week. Pics to follow. It will be tough though as I am very picky and have used a product I distribute for a few years now.

Anthing that is close to SIP and Nano but not as tempermental, they are the best when they don't act up. I'm looking for a close second and weather friendly. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like I'll be using polycharged UPP on my buddy's freshly (meaning a few months ago) repainted Rio Red '97 Cobra this weekend. The car sits outside 24/7 so it will be a good test of durability...he also likes slickness which works out pretty good!

mshu7 - I replied in my other thread regarding the pads. Also check out this thread for my initial impressions .

Have you looked into the new Wolfgang 3.0 polishes?

Also if you're looking for something with a little more "kick" to it, check out the Pinnacle Advanced polishes. They really took me by surprise! The Advanced Swirl Remover is more abrasive than the Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover but still finishes up pretty good for such a strong polish. Then polishing with the Advanced Finishing Polish will leave a beautiful glossy finish. I had no problems using these polishes in the 90 degree heat this weekend, and god knows what the humidity was here in South Florida.

Thanks Matt. Nice offer.
Sometime I'd like to see DP Spray Sealant (stand alone; base for wax; amping up another sealant).

Well here is your answer to the adapter question.I know its a limited supply for the first run. Mine will be in tomorrow.

I have also being thinking of the 4 Star with polycharger

The adapter is on the Edge site right now for the Flex .... $45. I assume AG will be getting it shortly .

Yup, got a PM from Edge earlier today. I look forward to your review/initial impressions rwisejr. I'm curious how the gear driven dual action is kept intact.

As I mentioned earlier, depending on the severity of your swirls, I would strongly suggest checking out the newly reformulated Wolfgang 3.0 and Pinnacle Advanced polishes (Wolfgang for mild swirls, Pinnacle for bad swirls).

Let me know if you have any other questions...you may also want to make a separate thread since you'll be able to get a wider array of responses/opinions.
