I want to say 04 is when it stoped being sold in the states (over seas still sells it), new a tin would run you $12.50 and not being VOC compliant makes it illegal for sell in some states (darn you Cali). So it's either change the ingrediants (which the formula never changed since intruduced in 1952-2004) or drop it. Megs decided to replace it with NXT which till this day can't hold a candle to #16 durability ;)
 
I get 3-5 months durability with NXT. That's when I wash the vehicle with NXT Car Wash too.
 
Really?People complain how it falls on it's face after 6-8 weeks, and 2 coats of #16 got me just shy of 4 months back in south Fl summer.

hey guys i been seeing that everybody likes megs #16 i found out that i store here in Brazil still have 2 boxes of #16 (24 of them) i personally have 5 so if someone wants a tin I can get them or i can trade 1 or 2 of mines
The funny thing its that in here they dont even care about them they where at R$ 75.00 reais (brazilian money) and now they are on sale for R$ 50.00 reais that its around 25.00 U.S

#16 is still being made and sold overseas only just not here in the states. is that $25.00 for a case of 24?
 
Oh o.k I was like damn I'll take a case for 25.00 lol I have enough to out live me lol....
 
lol but if some day u run out of #16 here in Brazil they have plenty of them

That's is Great... I never got beyond 2 months... Just got some Collinite Fleetwax #885 for winter though.:D

I purchased my tin from Ebay $16.00 so i'm good..I just had to compliment your bike its smokin ....
 
I'm going to the UK in December and am going to try and find some #16!!!
