ill tell you the swirls and cob webbing and scatches were so bad that these pic,s dont show the improvement.sorry i dont have pic,s before cause i didnt have a digital camera.hear is the problem,i have used xmt#2 then xmt#1 and i saw a decent difference........so i thought.we finally had a really good summer time shine on our cars for the first time in about 8 days.well quess what i did get rid of about 50% of the swirls and cob webbing but there are still too many there.so i tried xmt#3 and still the sh!t is still there.well i decided to try thr swirlbuster and pad from sonus, well quess what it hid so many problems that i was totaly ammazed.i would really rather find a solution then a cover up,please help.

this is why I suggest washing after each polishing step. To many fillers and hiding agents. You wont notice there back until after everything is done and your on your 1st or 2nd wash.

Using a PC and polishes like SSR's and XMT are great combo's but you are going to need to work and rework each panel for a long time. Safety comes with a price ... keep at it.

Sounds like you have some deep swirls. How was the car previously washed? Automatic car washes?

95% of the time it was at a car wash with a brush on it,and now i know that is what caused it along with terry towel drying.so i guess i just have to go over it again with xmt#3 a couple more times then.i went very slow and with moderate pressure but i guess the swirls were deeper then i thought.so should i use more pressure or just more passes.

Nice pics, and a sweet ride.
thanks man but itll be sweeter when i get rid of the rest of these swirls and cob webs.

Sounds like it might take a little while in your condition. try it again, man, try it again.

It may sound like a bit more dramatic step, but I have used compound and extra cut compounds with my PC and a yellow pad and got great results. I would suggest you try one area or panel at a time and completely wipe it down with a alcohol/water mix or a prep cleaner to see where you are at. From the compound, I typically go to PB's 2.5, but XMT#2 will probably be fine.
