Well looks like I really did it :(

Unbelievable "Aegian" service once again Mike P! You guys rockIm the MAN

JonM, :urtheman:
Integrity is in short supply in this world. You were taught well...

Mike Phillips, as well as the rest of the AutoGeek staff truly do go beyond all expectations...Many companies should take note on how well they treat their customers.

As far as the situation goes, Mike refused to take no for an answer and once again kindly requested my shipping address. I once again politely declined receiving a free polisher, but did send him my shipping and billing info with a credit card number. Whether Mike wants to accept the CC is his choice, and regardless which ever way he chooses Mike showed me there are true genuine people left in this world.

Thank you everyone.

Very interesting thread, I am not surprized to see AG step in and take care of this issue like they did.:goodjob2:

From a mechanic's standpoint, given the very reasonable price of a seemingly well performing machine, I would buy the new unit and have the broken one (epoxy repaired) as a backup in the event that I would need to send my current unit in for repair or replacement. This way I could still work while the repair or replacement was being made.

It is nice to see this kind of service being offered by AG.

I got a call back from Heidi this afternoon and stated that 'my issue' (really JonM's) is causing a revolution and causing them to re-look at their parts arrangement and how to fix this issue as well as others like it in the future!

I'm glad to hear it...Prior to this I've heard nothing, but great things about their company.

Hey jon lol I bet your gonna be anal where you place the new one lol...... good luck with everything.... just gotta love AG and Griots... both great people!

Yeah I'm actually feeling a bit like a jerk for duping them. But I think this has been a great topic for them to look at! She agreed that there's a loophole that needs closing!

I'm glad to see this issue resolved Jon. It was only a matter of time before big brother jumped in, they are always watching. If you think the staff at Auto Geek are nice online, you should meet them in person! Top notch people, all of them! Even though I said I wouldn't stop by Griot's booth, I did take the time to visit. They are great people as well. That ROP is one powerful machine! Their mini polisher may find a home with me...

Autogeek's handling of JonM's issue inspired me so much that I ordered a GG ROP on Monday, and it has already arrived! Yippee! And the best part is...I was able to intercept the package from the UPS dude before my wife ever saw it! So now I have a new tool, and I'm not in the doghouse (yet)! Life is good!!!Im the MAN
