Went to Walmart today and found...

in the car care empty shelves....All megs stuff was gone except for the ultimate line,ie compound ,polish,and waxes everything else was GONE,even gold class was gone!

Anything that was in an aerosol form from other suppliers was also gone...ie stoners etc.

Has anybody else seen this in your area?

I asked a person that worked there about it and he said it was pulled. WHAT?

I thought it was kinda of wierd.......I do buy some products there which are few but the one's I do buy are gone.....

Just wondering if any one else has seen or heard of something.
 
right around this this time they are re-organizing the shelves/kiosks (need to make way for new products) and they probably were moving them to a different aisle...
 
Yeah, less demand for detailing supplies during the winter..like gardening supplies.

Everything was still on the shelf here in Southern California.

But they were totally sold out of Surf City Garage products.

My Walmart still has a full stock of the usual stuff.
 
Maybe they're getting ready to add on the 2012 Meguiar's products and at the same time, re-organize the shelves. The guys from Meguiar's said that the new 2012 products will be out in Walmart shelves in January so that might be it.

That could be it...was caught off guard I was going to pick up some Stoners and it was gone...and a whole lot of other things,just seemed out of the ordinary for walmart.
 
Im noticed the walmart I visited today looks a bit bare on some stuff, no meguiars either.

They may be getting ready for the 2012 line to come in. The gossip on the street says they should have it in by December 21, 2012......

The two near me have never stocked their products. How did you get so lucky?

What you should do is look around for the clearance section since anything not being stocked will likely be on clearance sale.
 
They're probably are on to the fact that you know where everything is and they're rearranging the store so you can't find anything. They probably have someone following you around as well to take note of what you buy regularly so they can discontinue it.

TL <--- tired of continual store rearranging
 
as mentioned.. some products that aren't sent back and not in regular rotation will end up in the clearance section, so check there too. in the past i've seen a piece of paper taped to the shelves with the arrangement of the new/current products (planograms) that will go on the shelves. it varies from store to store when they get new products and when they place them on the shelves as well...

That looks like my local WM year 'round. Even having the 5qt jugs of oil in stock can be problematic at times.

To me, their shelves have more holes than a cheap wool sweater during moth mating season.

This is happening in Target as well. The one by my lady's house liquidated their car detailing supplies back at the end of October last year. I'm slowly seeing the detailing supplies disappear from my local target.

I stocked up on the Meg's Gold Class Shampoo and the varoom multipurpose MF towels. I need to stock up on some Stoners...that's some good stuff right there. I was disappointed to see that stuff go. In its place are snow shovels and sleds. WTH?!
