AJ= Acrylic Jett; AJT= Acrylic Jett Trigger (spray).

JeffW: Menzernas HGAS (High Gloss Acrylic Shield) is a QD whereas AJT is a standalone sealant.

I would not apply AJT over a carnauba (it is not QD)....smearing and lack of proper bonding are likely. Now Maxwax, Natty's or Souveran over AJT rocks.

Don't agree with you about HGAS, with all due respect. HGAS is a spray sealant and can function as a standalone LSP. AJT seems to be formulated a little thicker than HGAS which makes it tougher to spread, IME, but other than that the results seem to be fairly similiar - that nice acrylic glossy shine. I can't vouch for durability as I've never left either alone long enough.

I have traditionally used both as QDs over WG or BF. After putting on a number of WG coats, I then will treat after each wash with the acrylic spray, simliar to how others would QD.

Also, just reread my original post and it does not seem real clear about another point - instead of saying I like acrylic sprays on top of carnauba, I meant to say that I prefer the looks of acrylic instead of carnauba.

JeffW:

Thanks for the clarification...I thought you were applying the AJT over a carnauba layer.

To me Menzernas HGAS is more of a booster/QD, but if it works as an LSP that is great. For me the spray products can be considered either LSP, booster, or straight QD.

I sometimes use AJT and then top it with Maxwax....looks great. But like many of us, I'm always QDing or boosting my wax or sealants, so testing original durability is tough.

Have there been any attempts made by AG to carry this line?
I would like to give you an official answer to this question...
We did pursue to stock this line, but it is our understanding that there is limited stock, thus they cannot supply vendors at this time.

If anyone has any other information that can help, we are always open to suggestions.

Thanks!;)
