The Home Depot work platform is not a Werner as offered by Lowes. It is also shorter in length but does have a higher total weight rating. Northern Tools also has a similar platform on sale, but once again, the platform is less than the Werner's 39" length.

It is a Werner. As mentioned previously, they go on sale every now and then.

Depot will match their STOCK Werner if you have the Lowe's ad. Just picked up a second one today. Don't need two but I figured what the hell, two for less than one.

Try online first.
Customer service gives various answers to the same question. Luckily, I had a competent customer service rep at Home Depot that sold me the $44 Werner while the manager was pushing the $17 Gorilla model...perseverance won out and I took the price match.
 
I have 7 Lowes in my county, and there isn't one left in any of them. I might have to try a price match at HD since they have some left.

Had 2 shipped for home use from Lowes, wanted to get one for work, no luck, all sold out.......printed the ad flyer went to Home Depot, sold it to me for $17, their original price is $44.
Hope you get one, it's a good deal and can always use it, fold it up and hang it on the wall when done.
 
Just a general question about discount-seeking: how many of you place an actual value on your time, so that at some point, you cut your losses and end your quest for trying to get the discount?

Kinda makes me wonder the same thing when the news reporters are with people waiting in line for 'anything' for hours, are the bargins really worth it considering time is money..............easier when shopping online and drive right past 2 Home Depots on the way to work as is the case with this topic.
I guess it all really depends how much the individual believes their time is worth.
My time is worthless................if we could only get paid to watch football!!:props:

Home depot wont price match, gave me a long story that it excludes black Friday deals, also they only match prices on IN STOCK items.........wtf??

If anyone can find it, buy it! I bought a different brand platform, but it appears to be exactly the same a month ago from amazon for $50... Yeah it hurts :(
 
keep in mind that Menards stores have the same thing at the same price through tomorrow, monday. might check their website if you have a store close.

They're very nice, too much competition nearby so they really try to get the sale even if it's cost for them.
I told the manager it was appreciated, he said have a great holiday!
