A friend of mine called me looking to see if I had any Westley's Bleche Wite I did have some, but now I cannot seem to find the same product.
Has it been taken off the market?
I did call the phone number on the bottle DISCONNECTED ?
According to my friend , you can no longer get the product !
A similar product is made by another company and it really has no cutting power. Same exact bottle but a different product . Made by Black Magic not the same item ???
What other product do you guys use for white walls ?
Does anyone know what happened to the original Westley's ??
Thanks in advance for the reply !

I just picked up a gallon at carquest yesterday.

still available at my local outlet . I'm not positive but I think black magic bought it out sometime ago . my jug says original westley's - and black magic on it

It's still out there.

I think last year or so, "Black Magic" seems to have taken them over.

One thing I have noticed about the 'new' product, is doesn't seem to have the ummph like the old. I may have just gotten a 'bad' bottle, but what took one application now takes 2-3 to get the almost same results.

Personally, I'll give them a 'one more bottle chance'...if the results remain marginal, gonna have to search for different product.

I believe Black magic bought them out a while back, but I did notice recently it does not work like it used to, it also said "new formula" on the bottle. I've been trying Zep 505 and citrus cleaner as well as my Meg's APC just came in so I'm going to try that out. So far Zep 505 has worked pretty well.

I bought a bottle at Auto-Zone for my white letter tires, works just as good as before for me.

I have noticed it took two cleanings to get my tires somewhat black again. Going to look for a better solution.

The new Bleach White is lacking some chemical. I found an old bottle on a shelf at a parts store and compared ingredients and they were different. I stopped buy it and now buy a gallon of white wall cleaner from one of the detail trucks that stop at my dealer for 5 bucks. I'm not a chemist so I don't know the name of the stuff that missing. If anyone remembers , the tip of the spray head on the original stuff would have a crusty blue buildup after you sprayed it serveral time and it would dry. The "new" stuff doesn't do that. I think it just stronger APC.

The last bottle I bought smells completely different than it used to in the past. It doesn't have that harsh chemical smell. It still seems to work fine for me. It still cleans the white letters and gets the brown off better than any apc that I have tried.

I remember that stuff. I used to swear by it. It's pretty good for otc.

After my recent purchase of Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner, I have no need for Westley's - which I have used for years. TS cleans my tires more thoroughly, uses less product, is less harsh on my senses, and the 128oz 1:1 concentrate is now in my AG basket.

an APC mixed strong will work fine.
I loved WBW, so sad to see it gone.
I think I have a few squirts left in an old bottle. Guess it's going on the "collection" shelf.

So sad to see the formula has changed. Thank god I don't have raised white letter tires anymore. Westleys was my "go to" !!!!

Indeed...It has changed its ingredients. :(

I've used bleach white for years, but I have noticed a lack of cleaning power in recent years, and have all but quit using it. Amazing Roll off is ok in my opinion, but nothing special......wish I hadn't bought that gallon.

Tried OPC at 3:1, it's better, and will try full strength next.....but still searching. I like my white letter white, and tires spotless before dressing them.
