I have a 14 camaro 1LE. It has 285 tires on the front the kick up lots of debris. I currently have maybe a dozen small rock chips into the clear along both sides of the car, is this something that can be removed by a polisher? Or will this need to be wet sanded? I will try to get pics of I can get them to show up

I'd say that the rock chips will need to be filled-in first.

well in my opinion neither may not work. my daily driver gets pounded with little rocks
and debris. i probably have more chips then you but i tried wet sanding and polishing but
didnt help. best you can do is touch up paint and polish

i agree with the last guy .. I work at a body shop and have customers that ask about that all the time ...there is only two ways to fix this . 1 : fill the chips with paint then sand them down with 2000 grit wet sand paper and buff/polish ..2 : bring it to a body shop and have them repaint the car.
hope this helps.
good luck

Agreed!

I use a fine paint brush and work very slowly on our cars only

Now my wife's alloy rims need an expert touch!!'

Thanks for the help! I'll take it to a body shop and have them take a look!

Yeah i see your post and it will definitely needs a Wet sanding on it to make it looks shiny and graceful. So you can took it to your mechanic,it done s well with it.And you can imagine it after wet sanding your car condition look genuine and much better that the present.
