Since buying Wets and using it in my XT trim and tires. I read that I can use it on my wheels too.

It makes them feel really nice, and the brake dust has been washing off easily.

Do any of you that own Wets use it on your wheels also. It would be nice to see what kind of longevity it has. I will see how long it does on my car.

Thanks all!

I have brought this message up before with no responses. I'm not sure if it's because not many people use this product on wheels.

I love WETS, but I've never used it on wheels, or tires for that matter.

Why? Because I have so many other tire dressings and LSP's. I'm sure if I had less products I would have used it that way.

I too am a big fan of WETS. I've only used it on plastics. Like Setec Astronomy, I have other products for rims and tires that I've never tried it. You should let us know about the durability of it after a few months.

On what type of wheels did you use WETS?
TIA

Like the others I only use it on the trim. I have my wheels coated for ease of maintenance and longer protection.

The thing I that I like about it on the tires is, that it doesn't take much at all to get the tire looking nice. Several drips on a foam pad, about 3 times and it rarin' to go. I'll let the tires and wheels go until they stop looking like they are protected anymore to see how long they last.

It will be a rough test, because it's supposed to rain a lot this week.

So far, it leaves that slick soft feel on the wheels, like after using any type of wax or protectant on the wheels. We'll see.

You should post some pictures of your wheels and tires. I'm actually pretty curious to see how your tires look with WETS.

Sounds like some very expensive tire shine... Especially if it doesn't last at least 3 months.

It really isn't that much at all that i'm using. Seriously just drips. I have majority of my bottles left with both Wets for the exterior, and WCTS(Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant) for the interior. And I have had to use the most product just trying to get all my trim, vinyl, and leather back to good condition. So now that things are back to black, I'll be using even less to maintain the look of everything.

This stuff isn't a lotion, or cream, or gel. Things that would use up pretty quickly, because of how much comes out of the tube they are in. or how much you need to apply. It comes out like raindrops, and when applying it, it just spreads easily over any kind of trim, vinyl, and leather.

I have been tired of the glossy look of most tire products for a long time. Wets, basically just makes them black with a soft satin sheen.

Except, Mckee's 37 Tire Sealant from pictures doesn't look too glossy too.

I'm not even using it as a tire shine really. Just something to keep the tires clean and black.

You would probably like the Wolfgang tire gel if you want the black look on tire. The McKee's 37 or DP Tire coating is a great product as well. It's gloss level can be controlled and last a long time.

Sounds exactly like the Endura Trim/Tire Coat. Those 2 products are also liquid that are used the same way. I've coated trim on several vehicles and I haven't even used 4oz. of the trim coat.. The tire coat is a different story because I usually like to layer it + I like to be liberal with it. If that WETS doesn't last 2-3 months you should give it a try. It delivers the exact look you're describing.

I call Every tire product "tire shine" lol.
It doesn't matter whether I use Hyper Dressing, tire coating, Endurance Gel, tire foam, or anything else, to the customer it's simply referred to as "tire shine"
If they they're paying for a legit complete detail, then I use the tire coating. But I never call it that.. I simply say "I'm gonna put some stuff on your tires that's gonna last like 3 months"😃

Tires washed twice, cleaned with Megs all wheel and tire cleaner twice, and Megs D108 twice. Along with some very nasty faded trim.

More nasty faded trim.

2 weeks, 2 car washes, Multiple rains including the day of these photos. Also notice the nicely blackened Trim on the sides of the tires.

My interior leather and vinyl were very faded, splotchy, streaky, and uneven.

Sorry I do not have any before shots of that at this time,
but Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant evened out everything very nicely, making it all look very smooth and uniformly black.

These two products are finally giving me the look I have been searching for on both my exterior trim and tires, and also my interior vinyl and leather.

Those being WETS(Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant), and
WCTS(Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant.

They simply bring everything back to it's original color and darkness while adding just a nice satin sheen to everything. I can be a very messy person in my car at times, and have a real habit of spilling drinks and food all over. Anything that I have spilled, or got some fast food grease on, has simply wiped off with a damp Microfiber towel, which I always keep in my glove box now. The actual bottle of WCTS says that you only need to use a damp micro to clean things off.

The protectant doesn't streak at all when wiping it down. Way to go PBMG and Wolfgang for making these awesome products!!!

Take care all!
