wg 3.0 dg paint sealant

does the wg 3.0 dgps have to be applied to a wax free surface? i plan to clay bar, the use pinnacle xmt 360, which is an aio. i wanted to apply another layer of protection such as the wg 3.0 dgps. i am assuming the xmt 360 aio does have a sealant and wax in it. i guess i wanted to know if wg 3.0 dgps adheres to wax surface. i also have the wg dg spritz sealant .

Clay the car, then if you are happy with the condition of the paint, apply the sealant. Don't apply the sealant over a waxed surface as bonding issues may occur. Use the spray sealant as a "booster". Remember, wax over sealant, not sealant over wax.

+1 on that. i really like the 3.0 on light colored cars and feel no need to wax over it.
