I recently got the WG Total Swirl Remover and WG Finishing Glaze from Meghan as a result of a contest I won. (THANKS AGAIN MEGHAN!
). I was always a Menzerna guy (granted, Menzerna actually MAKES this for Wolfgang, right??? I thought I read that in the description somewhere. So if anything, this product is an IMPROVEMENT over the Menzerna products I have)... so I decided to try this out. Overall, for the polishing I do, I'd probably reach for this over the IP, MP, FG that I have from Menzerna... I eliminate a step and from what I can tell, and got better results. Since I only have an 8 oz size for both, I'll probably have to get more by next spring for sure.
Here are the swirls I had to fix on the wife's lower panel that I haven't gotten to yet:
I then chose to try the following products with the respective LC CCS pads and using a PC 7424XP on setting 5.5.
Here it is after WG TSR... there was still some marring from the white pad, but overall it took the majority of the swirls out. It was not as dusty as Menzerna's IP, and it seemed to not "dry" out as fast. It stayed lubricated longer, so I could get a few more passes.
Now here is the final result. All swirls are gone, andIMO, the Glaze is what really sets this combo apart. I definitely like this more that Menzerna's Micro Polish and Finishing Glaze. I pretty much get BOTH products in one (both the fine polish and glaze) so I eliminate a step. PLUS, the jeweling it does is remarkable! I think it makes it pop more than what I got from the original Menzerna's. Note how clear the metallic blue flakes are.... esp for an 8 year old vehicle.
